For the first time, the Iranian NANDA-I Network held a webinar on the topic of “Nursing Assessment” with a speech by the Director General of NANDA-I International, Dr. Laura Rossi. This webinar, which was conducted with the follow-up of Dr. Mitra Zandi, Coordinator of the Iranian NANDA-I Network, was held online on Tuesday, May 2, 1404, at 2:30 PM Iranian time, in the Dr. Maddah Council Hall of Shahid Beheshti School of Nursing and Midwifery, with the presence of ten members of the founding board of the Iranian Network. Also present at this meeting were the representative of the International Vice Chancellor of Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences, Ms. Farrokhi, and the international advisor of the university, Dr. Amirali Mafi.

At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Laura briefly introduced the scientific research activities of Dr. Laura to the audience, then each member introduced themselves and the meeting was handed over to Dr. Rossi.

Dr. Laura Rossi first explained the clinical reasoning process with a focus on nurse assessment. Then, they explained the complexities of assessment in nursing and how to conduct clinical assessment of nurses based on the leading models available in the world. After Dr. Rossi’s speech, he answered questions from the audience and finally the session ended at 5:30 PM.
